How do you get the most out of your video marketing?
It's clear that video is an essential channel for marketers. From YouTube to Instagram reels and TikTok video is everywhere. If your customers - and prospective customers - are watching videos, and most of your competitors are publishing videos, then it's time to become a video first brand.
In this Creator Conversation, Justin McCoubry, VP of Marketing, breaks down what you should and shouldn't do when creating out videos and how to stand out amongst the competition.
Let's jump in.
🔥Three Top Tips:
Tip 1: Make them Consumable
30. 60. 90 seconds max. If your content is longer than that, or you have more to share, create a series of videos rather than just one. Think about the most popular videos today - they're quick and succinct. Remember the expression, "short and sweet," and that will keep you videos punchy and memorable.
Tip 2: Have a Call to Action
Ensure whomever is watching your video that they have a takeaway and can go and do something with it. If there isn't a call to action, then there's no value in having that video.
Tip 3: Ask - So What?
Does your video offer something educational or insightful? If you're unable to answer the "so what" question after watching your video, then you probably don't want to publish that video or need to revise the script.
