(Healthy) competition is necessary for a business to grow and expand. And we get it, not everyone enjoys competition. So, what happens when five other companies are selling similar products to yours? New customers are crucial for rising your company above the rest. There are various ways to go about this. From creating pop-ups to SEO, figuring out which will work best depends on your product, customers, and your company.   Specify You need to create a specified target audience to get a good base following until you expand your brand awareness more. Sure, to you your product is the most unique out of all your competitors. We don't doubt that. But there is never going to be a competition-free product.   The only way you will be able to stand out from your competitors is by learning from your competition. Acknowledging what they do right and what they do wrong is a good strategy for understanding your market and avoiding mistakes. Analyzing how competitors are advertising and selling their product lets you see how they are differentiating their brand. You should do the same with your company as well. View your website as your potential customer would. This technique allows you to circumnavigate your website through the  customer journey.   Get Your Customers Involved Your customers are your best testing when it comes to your company. Go customer-centric rather than product-centric. What do I mean? Turn to your shoppers and get them involved. They are your biggest advocates for your products and using them to promote your product will increase your brand awareness. If you are a new business, you may want to consider heavily gifting and asking prospectives to try your company items.  You have to show your audience your brand is the best, and the way to do that is having your customers review your products.   Better Purchasing + Better Sales Beating your competition may seem hard but focusing on purchasing and sales can help you jump ahead. Establishing the best supply chain and maintaining a good relationship with your wholesaler allows you to deliver top-notch quality products. In relation to sales, this may be the biggest part but it is important to remember this is not the only piece to stand out. Shopify says it best, “Better sales mean not only selling more product for better prices, it means meeting the customer's needs and desires better.” But when it comes down to it, better sales allow you to have more money to put into your operations.   We know it’s hard to stand out especially on the internet.
